Mama Robin

I finally got a decent photo of mama robin on the nest in our redbud tree. Normally a robin's nest is not a big deal, but this one makes me very pleased. I wanted a redbud tree for the front yard for years, and a couple of years ago, a friend gifted us with one. We have nurtured it and watched it grow, and it makes us so happy to see it flourishing. This year when this robin built in her nest in it, it felt like she was giving her blessing to the tree, and we are very excited to watch this young family grow and enjoy our tree as much as we do!
