Sometimes people just amaze me, and not in a good way. This gorgeous dog is a purebred dachshund, only 2 years old, sweet and absolutely gorgeous. Yet, she is now in rescue. Why? Because "she got herself pregnant", and her family didn't want to deal with it. Personally, I am thrilled that she is now in rescue, because she will be safe and well taken care of, and so will her pups. According to the vet, we are expecting 6 or 7 puppies within a few days.

What a sweetheart!! I am glad she's in the rescue and will be taken care of, as will her pups. Heaven only knows what she was bred with. Poor baby but I'm sure her future now is brighter!!!
