Where Has The Week Gone?

I have no idea why, but this last week has flown by. I know it was a busy one, and perhaps that is the answer. On Saturday I went to a dog show, and I fell in love with watching the agility dogs. I didn't know any of the dogs or trainers, but I found myself applauding each and every one of them as they completed the course. Now I am on a quest to learn more about this sport, so that I will have a better understanding of the judging at the next event.

I also spent some time this past weekend photographing this little cutie. He is a puppy that I fostered last year, and sadly, his owner returned him to the rescue, because she is too busy for him now. First I was angry with her for tossing him aside when he no longer fit into her life, and then I was upset for little TJ, that he would have yet another new environment. Eventually I calmed down and realized that she obviously wasn't the right home for him, and I vowed to myself to do what I could to find him the perfect home this time. Happily, he has a couple of great families interested in him already!

Thank goodness our best friends are so forgiving. As soon as TJ gets into his new forever home, he will love all over again and be the champion for his new mom and dad!

Forgiving is right! He is so sweet and friendly, and he has adjusted to all of this beautifully. I think it has been much harder on me than on him!

He is just a cute little thing, I'm sure he'll find a new home soon, hopefully for forever this time!

It's better he got returned then to be forgotten about in the home he was in. Sometime people just don't think.

ahhh he is soooo cute...you know I would take him if I didn´t live thousands of miles away...and you at a dog show...you have your own dog show right at home...watching them eat CUPCAKES...toooooo cute!! Good luck find TJ a home.

LOL Cynthia! My house is more like a circus than a dog show! Although I would wager to say that some of their moves should qualify in an agility competition....LOL.

I guess it was best the person returned him...better than him living in a home that wouldn't give this little guy the attention he deserves!!! It's a good thing I live far away as well!! I can see me adopting every dog you take pictures of!
