Another Reminder
3/9/09My word for 2009 is "Simplify", so I couldn't resist creating a collage when I found this word in a magazine. It is mid-March, and I am making good progress on simplifying my household possessions and fair progress on simplifying my life. Oh well. Some things are easier said than done. I do still hope to get both aspects simplified by year end though.

I took seriously to simplifying my life in 2001. The efforts made are yielding results especially when it comes to accumulating new possessions and recycling old one. So simple I get.
A question Karen... Are your works digital collage or not? I read so many blogs, I'm confusing people and processes.

Good question, and the answer is no. My artwork is original and one-of-a-kind. I love the process of making each one by hand, and I love feeling the "hand of the artist" in actual collage work. Digital collage falls flat for me.
