Zeke

Here is a new photo of Zeke taken this morning in the early sunrise. He is a year and a half old now and continues to entertain us on a daily basis. He has more personality than any dog either of us have ever owned before, but that personality also includes a stubborn streak. He is feeling more and more comfortable here, and along with that, he has gotten more vocal about barking when he wants something. This morning he wanted out to chase the squirrel off our deck. He and the birds seem to ignore each other, but he does not want a squirrel or rabbit in HIS yard. It's always an adventure around here with Zeke in our lives!

I don't blame you! He is such a wonderful companion for me in the studio and gardens every day. Watching him explore everything is almost like seeing it through a child's eyes, and his antics keep us thoroughly entertained!

He has such beautiful coloring. Oh, and by the way? They get more vocal as they get older. Dooley is ten now and if you tell him no, he actually grumbles at you in complaint. Its pretty funny!

Hahaha.....if Zeke is sleeping on my lap, and I move him so I can get up, he groans in protest. You're right, it's hilarious!

he has such a sweet little face! There's nothing like having a dog to keep you company in the studio is there? Gertie my cocker spaniel is always by my side and has her own little pillow in the corner to snooze on while we're in the studio.
