It's Official!
Quilters' S.O.S. - Save Our Stories is a project that has been undertaken to interview quilters and record their stories and photos of their quilts for archival purposes. Dedicated volunteers conduct the interviews, and the quilters themselves supply the photos of their work. Currently these interviews and photos are available online, and they are also stored at the Library of Congress. I was interviewed this month, and my interview is available online now. Thank you for this:
KSO: My philosophy on life---spend your days doing what you enjoy, with the people that matter the most to you. Life is much shorter than you think, so it is important to treasure every moment.
Followed you over from Cynthia's blog. Beautiful, beautiful work. Put me in for your birthday give-away. What a nice gesture for your blog readers. Again BEAUTIFUL WORK. I'll return again.
That sounds like such and interesting project. I'm going to have to come back and listen to the interview when I have a little more time. About ready to dash out the door to get my daughter to school.
Every Moment is gorgeous. I put my sewing supplies away until my studio is complete. You make me want to get all my supplies out.
Karen, S.O.S. is a treasure and will be to future generations in their research and creative life...congratulations on being a part of it!
