"Kansas Art Quilters: Covers Blown!" Exhibition


Yesterday we drove to Topeka, Kansas to attend the opening reception of the "Kansas Art Quilters: Covers Blown!" exhibition. It is a beautiful gallery space, and the exhibition is wonderful! Above are photos of just a few of the colorful, textural pieces hanging in this show. If you get a chance, this is an exhibition that should not be missed!

Nice space - wish I could have a look at those quilts close up, but I'm about 4500 miles away...

Hi Karen, I just returned from the opening of Quilt National. From what I can see in this exhibit from your photos, this exhibit is of a similar quality, and, perhaps even more edgy. It looks like a fabulous exhibit! Congratulations to all who are in it, and to those who coordinated it and hung it. Well Done! Rosemary
