Repurposing?

These are pieces of an artwork that I created 11 years ago. It never sold, and it has run its course on the exhibition circuit. Yesterday I started cutting it up with no idea where I was going with it. Today I am playing with ideas. This is the first layout, and I'm not fond of it. I look at it and think that maybe the 12 sections would be better off as 12 drink coasters…….LOL. So, today, in between painting and stitching on other projects, I will keep experimenting with these 12 sections until I like what I see on the design wall.
