Well, if you have been reading this blog for long, you know that I have a soft spot for dogs in need. One week ago I went to photograph a batch of puppies for a rescue, and these 3 maltese puppies were part of the group. Tiny little Gracie curled up in my hand and fell asleep, and I was a goner. She is very small (less than a pound) and has some serious health issues, so I agreed to foster her and give her the one-on-one care that she needed. It has been a roller coaster ride, with good days and horrible days and many trips to the vet. Through it all she is fighting, and I am fighting for her. Please say a prayer that she starts to thrive soon.
