Today's the Day!

Midwest Fiber Art Alliance is a group of local fiber artists, and each year they plan a show with a theme. This year's exhibition features artwork that is inspired by favorite poems. My artwork is a cloak shaped piece in shades of purple, and it was inspired by the poem "Warning". The first line of the poem is "When I am old, I shall wear purple", and it embodies my philosophy about my life. It is about doing the things that are fun and that matter to you, without worrying about what others think. I hope you can stop by the artist reception today if you are in the area!
