Minimalism

Minimalism is hard for me. I am an artist that likes to build up layers and layers in each artwork. I like the extra layers of meaning and complexity in my work. But recently I have met an artist that works in a very minimalist style, and she is inspiring me to try again. This junk mail postcard is my first attempt. As you can see, I still had to add some painted lines and a scrap of gelato painted paper. Baby steps.
