Clinton Lake
The amazing thing about visiting a lake, or any natural habitat, is that every time you visit, you will see something new! This heron, and many others, was spotted at Clinton Lake in Lawrence, KS. I enjoyed watching him wade through the rough waters of the lake in the early morning light. He seemed to be successful in catching some fish for his breakfast!

Awesome photos. We saw our own heron recently but not up close and personal like this one.
