Confetti
The ATC (artist trading card) color prompt for July is "confetti". This was a hard prompt for me, because my mind was filled with little bits of colored papers swirling around. But that seemed to cliche, and hence the struggle to find another idea. I finally made a list of what I thought of when I envisioned the word "confetti" --- happy times, bright summer colors, and little bits and pieces. I pulled out scraps of paper and canvas in summer colors, and as a final touch, I added a border of white puff paint dots. Not really my normal style, but I enjoyed making them, and they remind me of summer and confetti.
