This is what freedom looks like for a young puppy! Can you imagine being 10 weeks old and about to be euthanized just because you're a puppy, and you're in a kill shelter that doesn't handle puppies? Thankfully this puppy is safe in rescue now and totally enjoying her freedom!

I often say that dogs are wonderful teachers and vital Medicine. Mine reminds me, every single day, of the importance of "downward facing dog" *and* how good it feels. She reminds me to lie in the cool shady lawn and, yes, to roll around with abandon. She reminds how valuable pure play is … deep rest, too … and that begging isn't necessarily always a "bad" thing.
