Bleeding Hearts
I love this photo of one of our bleeding heart plants, just starting to unfurl its leaves. It reminds me of sea anemones. This was taken a couple of days ago, and now the bleeding hearts are about 8" tall with their leaves fully open. Such a fleeting moment, and I'm glad I captured it in a photo!

I miss having bleeding hearts in my garden. I had a large cluster of them at my house in KS. It is too hot for them in south TX!
