Mya in the Snow

Even though Mya is a year old, she is a puppy mill dog, and this is the first winter that she has been outside in snow. At first she didn't like it; then she went through a phase where she romped through it fearlessly; and now she is thinking that it is a bit overwhelming when it gets this deep!

Mya on the potty path that we shoveled for the dogs. The snow is taller than Zeke and Mya, so we shovel paths for them to go outside. Although the snow is pretty, it is a ton of extra work with little dogs!

I think even Scooter's long legs would have a problem with that snow!!

Wonderful photos, Karen. We used to shovel paths for our Shizu named Bridget who died about 10 yrs. ago at age 14. A bit of extra work, but well worth it don't you think.

I love her little pink jumper.

Yes, Carol, they are definitely worth it! They add so much love and entertainment to our lives --- we would be lost without them.

Her pink sweater was hand crocheted for her by Mom, and it has a quilted lining, so it is quite warm in this weather. What you can't see in the photos is that it also has a white ruffle and bow on it!
