New Work
Treelines #1It seems like I have been making a ton of new work, but it is for projects that are not public yet, so I can't display photos of the work on my blog. However, the piece above is one of my new pieces that I changed my mind about exhibiting. It is a textile collage of photographs of barren winter trees that have been screen printed and photo transferred onto cotton cloth. I like this piece, but I think it needs some refining. There are so many tree images, and they appear to overpower the piece. That is the nice thing about working in a series --- you get another chance to make it better!

This is beautiful!! LOVE all of the colors!
I like this one a lot and don't find it overpowered at all. I look forward to seeing what you do with the series.
