Is It Spring Yet?

Spring is arriving very slowly this year. The cold seems to be hanging on a little longer than usual, and the normal April showers are a no-show. There are sprouts in the gardens, but nothing is progressing as much as usual.

This collage was an experiment in using the white tissue paper from Chico's as an overlay. I wanted it to lighten the background green, without coming across as white tissue. I think I accomplished the look I wanted with glazing medium.
