Half A Century

4/28/09

Well, I don't know how this happened, but it definitely has happened. Officially I am now a half century old, and I qualify for AARP and senior citizen discounts. Nasty as this sounds, it is actually shaping up to be one of my better birthdays, and I am looking forward to the next 50 years!

Happy birthday, Karen, 50 is the new 30. I have pretty much enjoyed my 50s and I hope you do too.

Happy birthday, Karen. My fifties were great, and were a precurser for my sixties. Have a great day. Enjoy all that wisdom you have accumulated, as well as the discounts at hotels.

Happy belated birthday, Karen! Many happy returns!
I think "the 50's" are a magical time for women.
As my dear friend, Rachel, likes to say: "Strong women: may we know them, may we raise them, may we be them".

I'm behind in my blog reading, so I'm sending you belated birthday wishes.
Glad you had a good day. My 50th (Dec 2007) wasn't the greatest day, but I got to take Amtrak thru the Rockies and on to Salt Lake City the week before. So I count that as my birthday.
Hoping you have a wonderful 50th year.
