20 Days

20 days into the new year, and so far I have managed to make a collage every single day. Yesterday it was the only thing that I got done in the studio, but it is a great feeling to create something every day, no matter how small. The photo above is a scattering of the first 20 collages for the year.

Ultimately, how do you store and/or display these? About how big are they?

Thanks for your interest! These measure 4.5"h x 4"w. For now, they are stored in a basket, but later they will need to be stored in a box. I don't plan to display them --- they are merely a tool to get my creativity flowing when I enter the studio each morning.

Wow, these are smaller than I thought. A basket or box would be the perfect way to store them. I can see you occasionally flipping through them, jogging your memory, making you smile. Some of my journal quilts are like that - nothing I'd want to display, but examples of different things I've tried, different moods I've gone through, and a box suits them well.

They look quite impressive in this photo! Beautiful.

Thanks, Seth! So far they have proven to be a great way to "wake up" in the studio each morning and also a good incentive to try new techniques. Some have worked; some haven't.
