Necklace Medallions
Sometimes it is worthwhile and fun to play in a new medium. After seeing some artsy necklaces that were way out of my price range and mold-made, I decided to try my hand at making my own one-of-a-kind necklaces. I love chunky medallions on a beaded necklace, so I bought some clay and started making medallions. Above is a photo of my work table this morning with the first layer of paint on the pieces. My plan is to add several more layers of paint for depth, then glaze the whole thing. We'll see.
