The Final Result

Here is the book folded and tied after completion. This is a hand-dyed cotton yarn that I tied around it.

And this is the entire book with all of the pages completed. It has been a fun project and an interesting break from making my morning collages. Let me know what you think now that it is finished.

I love this, Karen. The simplicity of it makes it very crisp and clean, but there is still a depth and richness in the color and texture.

Hi Karen, this book is a combination of poetry and visual art. It has my imagination stimulated to create some personal gift cards or booklets, much smaller than the multi-folds you have done. I can see this process working with Haiku's or the familiar lines of poetry or literature. Or of a personal greeting for a birthday, celebration, or sympathy. I could see some calligraphy for the words.... see, it's very stimulating for me. Thanks for the ideas and sharing your work. Rosemary

This is great, I love the final result! :) I especially like the cover and how you tied it together, like a little package. :D
