Photo of the forsythia blooms, taken our first morning home.While we were gone, spring has definitely arrived here --- our tulips are above ground (no blooms yet), the forsythias and lilacs are budding and blooming, and the miniature hollyhocks are poking a few starter leaves above ground now. Coming home to the new life in the gardens is great consolation for the beauty we left behind in CA.
