New Sketchbooks!

I have a friend that has the machine that punches and binds this kind of book, and I loved using it to create my own sketchbooks! It enabled me to mix several varieties of papers within one sketchbook. These new sketchbooks include watercolor, drawing, and marker papers, plus some bristol board to experiment with. Now I need to get busy and jazz up the covers! The photo below is the cover of my old sketchbook, now full.

thats a cool idea...kinko's will do this...what kind of material is the cover made of? and is that fabric or paper that jazzes up the cover of your old one?

I used black matboard for the covers. It is a little tougher to punch holes in, but it does work. The old cover is done with some of my painted fabrics, but the new ones will include paper, too. I have the first cover started with crumpled tissue paper and glazing medium.
