Magical Business Card Case

The Winter issue of Quilting Arts magazine has an article in it with instructions for making a Magical Business Card Case. Several artists were asked to make a sample case to be photographed for inclusion with the article. I was thrilled to be asked to be one of those artists. The bad news is that the photograph accompanying the article has the raku face bead on the front of my case turned backwards. It looks like a big white bump of a bead. So......here is a corrected photograph, so you can see how fabulous that bead really is.

Beautiful bead and beautiful card holder. I once h ad one of my quilts photographed for a magazine and they took the photo with the quilt upside down. There was a tricycle quilted in the middle of the quilt and it was wheels up!

Thanks Teresa and Beate!
The "magical" element of the card case is that you pull on that beaded ribbon on the front, and that makes your business cards slide out of the case --- easier than digging into the case to try to pull one out.

I often cringe with magazine photography. One of my quilts - the most embellished one I had done to date - was photographed as a tableclothl I am sure the orange juice placed on it was very unstable.
