Painting and Dyeing...

Rosemary Claus-Gray and I have enjoyed a fun week of painting and dyeing and woodcut printing and embellishing and Shiva paintsticks and and and.......

Above is some of the cotton I painted, some of the silk chiffon and organza that I dyed, and some of the silk threads that I dyed. Rosemary printed several woodcuts and thermofax screens of Incan and Mayan symbols and architecture, but I forgot to take photos before she left.

What a great week!

I can't recall where I first viewed one of the quilts in Rosemary's Facade series, but I love love love that entire series by her.

What fun the 2 of you must have shared!

I had great fun, and highly recommend when retiring from a professional career that one takes a retreat with another like minded artist and play, and play, and play. Thanks Karen and Jim! And thanks, Karoda, for your kind words. Yes, we had fun!
